Artigianato Digitale No.1
2009.06.29
I’m interested in making objects by hand that have a digital/computer/engineering quality to them.
Even if you don’t measure much, a clumsily put together polyhedron still has a calculated look.

Could they?
Is there an aesthetic line that has not been crossed by artisans?

It probably has a lot to do with the material.
An out of context polymer still displays it’s associated connotations.
Plastic makes you think of factories and mass production.
It’s a culture clash, put together by a digital artisan.
Balance Through Unbalance
2009.06.15

Imagine a machine whose only goal is to waste energy…
Plugged in, the center heats up and is cooled at the same time by fans that move cooling gas.
Think of it as a slick product that gives the finger to environmentalists.
Like a Monkey

Did you know it’s easier to peel a banana from the bottom?
Just squeeze the tip a bit, the skin will break without bruising your banana.
Remember to thank the monkeys later…
Better Method For Opening Rectangular Cuboid Cartons

Ignore the instructions on the box…
Use this method to open your milk or juice, and avoid the drips and the inconstant glug-glug-glug you get from their awful spout.
